Hi and welcome to my website!

Neck tension brought me to my first Pilates class many years ago. To balance out my stressful office job, I regularly attended mat classes and later tested out the rather crazy-looking Pilates equipment.

I was fascinated by how I felt every time after the lesson: Lighter, more relaxed, in a good mood.

The training made me more mindful of myself and my environment in everyday life. I paid more attention to how I lifted the shopping basket, how I walked and stood, rode my bike and how beautiful the sunrise looked.

I used to be very shy and insecure and worried a lot about how I looked to others and whether I was good enough. Even as a teenager, I got stomach problems from all the stress about it; later I also developed allergic asthma. Both conditions have remained, but thanks to a mindful lifestyle and Pilates as a basis, I manage them well. But this didn't happen overnight, it happened because I gradually learned to give my health a high priority in my life.

I started fitness training at the age of 16 and was soon teaching group fitness classes at the gym. I later used this to finance my business administration/tourism studies at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. My passion for teaching and enjoyment of exercise were born. Even back then, I felt that I was much more balanced and had more energy when I exercised.
From an early age, I dreamed of having my own small studio within my own four walls.

After learning over 500 exercises on the mat and on all the Pilates equipment and gaining teaching experience in a Pilates studio in Munich, the time had come in 2010: I opened my own Pilates studio in the basement of our house in my home town of Bad Wörishofen, fulfilling a dream. I turned my back on my office job to help others find a balance to their office job. Now I was able to do what I enjoy most professionally! I am very grateful for that.

Pilates has always helped me to regain physical and mental strength during turbulent times, through two pregnancies and in the postnatal phase. For me, it's less a sequence of exercises and more an attitude to life and my anchor.

I am infinitely grateful to have found this method. I also remain a lifelong Pilates student, working on my own "construction sites" and learning new things every day. I regularly attend further training courses and work closely with my mentor.

I learned from her that I don't have to be able to do everything perfectly. That's why my mantra is: it's all practice, not perfection!

My goal is for you to come out of my studio with a smile and good posture and to be more mindful and carefree in your sometimes stressful everyday life.
